Is shipping charged on wholesale orders?

We charge shipping on all wholesale orders. This rate is pulled directly from the shipping carrier based on number of shoes ordered, weight, and dimensions. There is no price break or quantity to receive free shipping on wholesale orders. International orders will also be charged duties/taxes upon delivery - these are owed by the wholesale customer.

I need to order 1 or 2 pairs; Why is there a $25 handling fee for orders under 3 pairs?

We charge shipping on all wholesale orders, but there is an additional cost for packing and handling associated with smaller orders. To cover the cost of extra labor/packing on smaller orders we have to add this fee. So any order under 3 pairs will have a $25 handling fee. For orders of 3+ pairs, you will only need to pay the shipping cost (not the additional $25 handling fee), so we recommend throwing in a few extra popular sizes/colors for display to avoid the fee.

I don’t have the space to hold inventory in my studio/store. Can I take pre-orders for clients instead?

Yes! You’re totally welcome to take pre-orders for clients’ specific size and color requests. That being said, we do recommend having at least a few pairs in popular sizes on hand to fit customers before purchasing because we do not allow for returns or exchanges on wholesale orders. So if you take pre-orders without fitting people first, and a client ends up with a size that does not work, you will have to hold onto that pair and facilitate the exchange within the studio.

Can I return or exchange shoes if I’m unable to sell them or if a client needs a different size?

If you purchased shoes from us at wholesale, we do not accept returns or exchanges under normal circumstances. If a client needs a different size than ordered, we recommend selling that size to another client, then placing the order for the new size needed in your next order. If you received a pair that appears to be defective, please reach out to us and we are happy to help resolve!

The item I am looking for is out of stock, can I place a pre-order for it?

We don't currently allow for any pre-orders or backorders on out of stock items. If something is unavailable on the wholesale portal, we cannot add it to your order. We generally try to keep our core colors in stock. For limited edition colors, we usually do not restock after launch. As always, feel free to reach out to us if you have any inventory questions.

The minimum for the initial order is 12 pairs, can this be a combination of the Slipstream and the Latus?

The initial 12 pair minimum is set up to cover at least a full size range and have enough stock to fit clients, so we recommend that your initial order be 12 per each style of shoe. But this is ultimately up to you, so yes your initial order can be any combination of sizes and colors that you would like.

Do the Slipstream & Via cycling shoes come with SPD cleats?

SPD cleats are sold separately. If you have an existing supplier for cleats (such as Shimano), you are welcome to continue sourcing from them, but we also sometimes offer SPD cleats on our portal. We recommend Shimano brand for SPD cleats for best quality and customer experience.

My male clients keep asking me for your shoes! When will they be available in men’s?

Men's sizes are officially live! We're now offering men's sizes 8 through 13 in 3 exclusive colorways.

What if I want to buy a range of sizes in the Slipstream and offer TIEM in my studio as a rental shoe for our riders?

Unfortunately, we do not offer the Slipstream to studios for rental purposes. Since the shoe is made from textile materials and not the hard synthetic leather found on most cycling shoes, it isn’t a good fit for the kind of wear and tear a rental shoe will undergo.

Can I use rewards points towards my wholesale orders?

Our rewards program is currently only intended for our regular consumers purchasing on www.tiemathletic.com. So if you do have a rewards account and are purchasing wholesale, we cannot allow for use of those points.
